Eight of the UK's leading bartenders came together last week at The Parrot in London to compete in Brugal 1888's 'Nearly Neat' competition to showcase their creative skills.

The bartenders are all founding members of The Sipping Society, an aptly named programme launched by Brugal 1888 that aims to empower industry experts with unique access to everything from  rum masterclasses and workshops to exclusive VIP experiences.

From this initial eight, two lucky finalists - Daniel Stepien from The Ritz and Giulia Cuccurullo from Artesian - will soon be making their way to the home of Brugal in the Dominican Republic. There, they will compete against eight other global bartenders for the title of Brugal 1888’s ‘Sipping Society Maestro’ with the winning cocktail becoming the Brugal 1888 signature serve.

Congratulations to Daniel and Giulia - we can't wait to hear all about the global competition and wish you both the very best of luck representing the UK on a worldwide stage for Brugal 1888!
